If you’re ever getting lip filler or botulinum toxin with Dr MJ, chances are you’ll meet Zoe, our star Aesthetic Medical Assistant. Born and bred here in Liverpool, Zoe joined the team in January 2026, and she’s absolutely loved her time at Smileworks so far.

As an Aesthetic Medical Assistant, Zoe is the one who prepares and supports Dr MJ’s appointments, carries out stock checks, and manages inventory ordering. You can think of her as the one who makes sure everything goes smoothly behind the scenes of your appointment. While Zoe’s has a medical background with NHS for over ten years, this is her first time working in an aesthetics, and we’re so lucky to have her positive, friendly energy here at Smileworks.

Outside of Smileworks, you can find Zoe spending time with her two sons. Lots of her early mornings and weekends are proudly spent on the sidelines of football pitches, rain or shine. Next time you see Zoe, be sure to ask her about her opinions on frogs. She’d love (or more-so hate 😉) to tell you her childhood story.
