Don’t rate dr mj like I used to, she is quick to throw every aesthetic practioner under the bus but when I asked her for advice in regard to a dentist that botched my botox she claimed it can happen to anyone and a known risk I then spoke to a real doctor not a dentist who said what happened was down to poor technique and it’s not a risk when done properly. She’s quick to bully and put down any other practioner that isn’t a dentist by the looks of things she also become more and more overfilled over the years and I think she has quite a perception drift. Also posting crude inappropriate things online i genuinely think she’s a rude odd character.

Had filling, root canal and composite bonding. Happy with results. Less happy with despite presenting my card for payment after every treatment being told on arrival for a vague appointment I owed £289. Paid but too shocked to ask what it related to. Appointments vague and expensive. The harassment via phone is too much. I was naive not asking for clarity but for the price charged clarity should be up front.

My paid consultation here was thorough and the dentist I saw was excellent kind, detailed, and reassuring. I genuinely appreciated her time and manner, especially as an anxious patient. She complimented me on the care of my teeth.However, my experience with the administrative side of this private practice after the consultation was horrible. I wanted to join via a private payment plan and had been told prior by Reception it was straightforward if I started early. At my consultation, I was told I needed to be “fit to join” before enrolling. Later, a call from reception was rude, condescending, and blame-oriented. She repeatedly suggested that I had misunderstood the process, even though I had been told previously that “the sooner you start on the plan, the better.” She also stated that no one on the team would ever give contradictory information implying I was lying. When I asked how many deep clean sessions I would need @ 150 per session, I was told 4 or 5 which felt more like a push to make money rather than genuine patient care.I decided not to join not because of the dentist, who was excellent, but because of the way the payment plan and administration were handled. I left my previous private practice after eighteen years only because it moved, so this was not an easy decision. I don’t expect to join a practice where treatment admin staff are rude, dismissive, and condescending this clearly wasn’t going to work for me.

Can highly recommend the aesthetic membership which includes the best facials with Becca. Really look forward to my monthly treatment and Becca ensures that it is always a special treat. She is professional and friendly and always makes me feel very welcome. It’s a great chance to relax and enjoy some pampering and my skin has never looked better. Thankyou Becca and see you soon x

Best dentist I have ever been to, all staff are lovely and welcoming, would recommend 100%, from fillings to bonding, getting a brace fitted thanks to Eduardo and Andreea, all amazing.

Amazing, friendly and professional service from start to finish! Made me feel really confident in my decision for composite bonding and I’m so impressed with the results! Can’t recommend Smileworks enough and Paula Reed does incredible work!!
